Motorhoming in Champagne Ardenne
Champagne Ardenne is a region in the north east of France and is made up of four departments; Ardennes, Marne, Aube and Haute Marne. It is as the name suggests home to that wonderful French invention, the Champagne! That isn’t however all it is known for. It is home to many beautiful towns which are bursting with history and heritage such as Reims, Sedan and Troyes. This green land of valleys is also the site of many major events in the history of France.
The department of Ardennes borders Belgium and is home to architectural treasures such as the towns of Sedan and Charleville-Mézières. Marne boasts the vineyards of Champagne and the historic town of Reims. Nature is au rendezvous in Aube where you can visit the Forest and the Lake of Orient or the medieval city of Troyes and finally Haute Marne, a sparsely populated department which offers destinations such as Joinville with its splendid Château of Grand-Jardin.
Whatever your idea of motorhome travel in France and whether you’re hiring a motorhome in England or hiring a motorhome in France, Champagne Ardenne offers a wide choice of destinations and visits and is the gateway to motorhoming in Picardie, motorhoming in Ile de France, motorhoming in Franche Comté, motorhoming in Bourgogne or motorhoming in Lorraine.
